You signed up in the forum and I am in your group, however I don't feel I can do the piece justice commenting on it. I'm not an infrared fan and your shot is just not doing anything for me. I've looked over it for quite some time and I don't have anything to say that could help you. I have looked thru you portfollio and you have some really wonderful work there. You have a really good eye and I think you make a good photographer. Sorry I can't help with this specific shot....keep shooting and good luck. X

I agree with Kelli's comment: tatooing on women turn a lot of people off and I wouldn't doubt that it has contributed to your low score as much as anything. Also, in your PP some of the green has shown up in her hair and her skin tones. The left arm has been blown out and maybe you could have saved some of it using adjustment layers and playing with the contrast. The composition looks good and the expression on her face relays just a hint of pain (and I'm not sure that is good or not). Looking at other shots in your portfollio, I say this is not one of your best but that you do have an eye and have the potential of being a really good photographer. Best of Luck. X

Julianne, this is a response from the forum you signed up for: It has already been said in a few of the comments and I agree; shots of toys or figurines don't do well here. The photo does have great bokeh that picked up the greenish dusk. On the down side of the dust is that it gathered in the eyes and makes me want to flince alittle because we can all relate to getting something in your eyes and how painful that is. I've looked thru your portfollio and you take some wonderful shots but I can't say this is one of them. Don't be too discouraged by my comments, it's just how one viewer sees this. Do keep shooting, you do some really nice work. X
