This is right up the alley of Rube Goldberg! Love him, his ideas, his contraptions and those spawned by him; and so this very imaginative one too!

I do not know what the caption means. But I interpreted the picture (w/o seeing its caption) as addiction. May be far off from what you intended or general interpretation but that was my first thought!

Liked the idea in any case. Perhaps you wanted to leave the picture a bit abstract open for all kinds of interpretation like an ink blot test! Cheers! :)

Congrats! But whats new?

The moment I saw in my inbox the name of the contest as Water Drop I was almost sure you wd be winning it. You have so much monopolized anything to do with water drop photography!

To make for a level playing field, the DPC admins shd make you 'ineligible' for any contest involving water drops! :)))

Brilliant. You command my admiration for your ability to create stunning visuals with the least amount of light and shade and forms and shapes. As a railway man's son I always had a fascination for trains and engines and this really is a staggering short that kindles nostalgia all the way back some 50 years! :)

Brilliant one I stumbled upon while checking out your prize winner on 'Subtlety'. I love your minimalist approach of just capturing the curve the defines the shape instead of going for the full shape. Very suggestive and leaves it to the viewer to fill the rest with his/her imagination. As posthumous said aptly "anything less is merely a photograph of architecture."

Brilliant! Congratulations on the blue!

While you say "the quiet sense of something lost" it strikes me as 'the quiet sense of solitude' enabling one to reconnect with one's self.
