hot blooded tulipsby mariucaComment: It is lovely to see high contrast in colour, when it is done well. You nailed it Imo. Also, I just dropped my pen on the floor and best to pick it up and this also looks fabulous sideways, it is like a fantastic leading line that then blooms off in two directions!! |

Afternoon Teaby BarronessComment: this is a gorgeous picture; it infuses me with calm. High contrast to me means very light to very dark. There are really no middle grounds for mid toned colour and I feel that the tea pot in mid-range. Not sure if that makes sense. If the black cups had not been there, the pot would have been the dark contrasting image against the gorgeous flowers. But again, that is just my thoughts. But I will say again that this is a super photo. 7 |

Two R Factorialby DistantColoursComment: Love the simplicity of this, crisp, clean, great leading lines. Brilliant image of something so mundane. 9 |

Bloom Offby HUETHComment: I can absolutely see where you were going with this. The scenery is too happy. Now if it was a single bloom in a vase with that long gorgeous stem, then that would have absolutely highlighted the death of the blooms and been an abstract looking type despair. You are absolutely spot on those with sharpness and colour. |

Left Againby LydiaComment: I see this every day with my dogs, so this actually got in my top 10. It is subtle. The one thing though for me, is it seems like it is tilting, which it is not, your house is tilting. It is a weird, phenomenal as I can see the bench is straight, but that left side is closer to the camera, so it looks slidey. |

Veil of Vaporby RistyzComment: Nice down pour! Very monsoon is. Some one though is going to whine about the tree tops or top of the buildings on the right side. Personally, with this down pour, I would have bumped that contrast a bit to get a really smart level of layers. If under those clouds at the lip a little burn could have make them even more of a curl and dramatic. |
