Very nice photo. It REALLY drew me in. The only thing that I would recommend would be to crop more of the right side so his face is more in the 1/3 instead of his ear. I think that in this photo a 3:4 ratio might be better than a 4:5 because I find that there is a lot of uninteresting stuff on the right side.

I had no idea that there were so many of this kind of churches in Japan. I lived in Okinawa for a few years and either I missed all of these completely, or they have different churches. Wish I wouldve known so I could have had the opportunity to take these kinds of photos when I lived in that part of the world.

I really like the perspective that your photo gives. Has a very nice even coloring and a nice amount of sharpening. Im a novice, but I think this is perfect. I think the reason why it didnt score higher (it shouldve ranked better) is the lack of a WOW factor. But nonetheless, this is a fantastic photo. Good job!

I like this one better than the tight crop. Although, I think there is too much orange/red in this shot. Maybe a bit desat? Very nice photo!

I am going to have to agree with the people that voted this a 3, 4, and a 5. Because when i see this photo, I think: Junk. NOT!!! This is a great photo. I really enjoyed seeing this, and hope that in the future I will be able to take your idea and take a similar photo so I can add it to my portfolio. Love it!
