the old street by TiberiusComment: Nice scene with the poles framing the subway car/train. While the street and buildings are old, your main subject is the modern train, so not as strongly connected to the challenge topic as others. |

in action by mitalapoComment: Neat viewpoints showing a ground level point of view. Not seeing a strong connection to the challenge topic. |

Broken Continuityby posthumousComment: Great job here. The broken glass, reflection, and seedy part of town are really interesting and the composition well thought out. I like the discontinuity of the tracks. |

The sign of the skiesby AmmieComment: Love it. Let me just melt away with this one into a serene state of peace. the small strip of land and huge sky is a great compositional choice. If the black/grey clouds had a touch more of red in them it would have been even more impactful. |

No Titleby Bear_MusicComment: Love it. Great "old guy" character study. The aggressive closeup works. I think the reflection in the glasses is what elevates the image to one of the top photos. The processing texture/clarity slider or equivalent might be a tad overdone. |

Driftwood Sculptureby ThingFishComment: Very cool. I love the rippled sand as leading lines into the wood. You can feel the warm afternoon sun from the deep shadows. The sky/clouds are great and really frame the photo well. The wood is the least interesting part to me, but I assume this is a found scene and you did great with it. |

Hedgehoppersby LevTComment: Love it. The tonality of this image gives a dreamy quality. The silhouetted birds really stand out as does the single spike of water. I think you could remove 20% to 30% of the sky and put the upper and lower waves onto the rules of thirds to give it more impact. |

morning mistby TiberiusComment: Wonderful atmosphere, very serene and peaceful. The mist amongst the tree is very nice. Perhaps crop off 10% or 20% of the sky as is covers a large part of the image and is the least interesting part. |

Just Before Sunsetby noranekoComment: Nicely seen and processed. All the elements work together foreground, middle, and distance. The sun is not overly harsh and works well. Perhaps needed a silhouetted duck or crane or something to push it to the top in a free study. |
