IMGP5747 small.jpgby LeokComment: Nice. I like the clean look of this shot. The lighting is a little hot (I'm sure you already saw that) but I don't think it detracts from the beauty of this image at all. The model looking into the camera/out of the image helps this shot and I love the angle from which you approach it; she's not turned "artistically" but just presents herself to the camera.
I wish we could see just the least bit of her right arm or hand. |

Day 23 Dark Alley.jpgby ValdoComment: Pretty cool effect. I wish it was just a hair darker on your right shoulder to help your outline blend into the background. |

Day 18by jdannelsComment: Great shot. Love how your rock solid and the lights just look trippy in the BG. Cool idea to use the ride.
The shirt, the hair, the sunglasses, the smoke . . . it all works together for you on this shot. |

one - what's in it for me?by TJComment: Not really sure what to say about the shot other than I like it *cough* (Sunniee right) and its a cute SP.
I already have my thoughts of what might possibly keep Jack's attention (not that a guy would project or anything) but did you have to bribe him with anything to get him to sit there? |

060922_sp024encomp.jpgby TJComment: I like several elements of this shot. The lines lead right towards the midsection which just one of the places on body that deserves attention but in doing this the lines behind the body emphasize that feminine curve of the back (ok the curve isn't feminine I suppose but I immediately perceived a femininity from that curved back). You also used the parasol to fantastic effect; where the fabric extends over dark the viewer is presented with that lovely red color as the only color in the shot (almost) but as the fabric flows across the dark area and into the light it becomes translucent which affords the aforementioned view of your frame, this is fantastic. It looks like someone hiding behind something without knowing how exposed they are. The mussed hair in the silhouette just accentuates the feminine effect.
The only things that really bother me on this shot are the leaves on the parasol (and what can you do about those anyway?) and the slight purple fringing around the top of the parasol just behind and in front of your head. This lessens the effect of the red on the black & white. Great shot. |
