The Need for Speedby ace flymanComment: Part of me says you could have cropped the left part of the image and gotten one more point from me:-) Good capture, though not very much in focus (relative to some of the other ones I have seen). regardless, you get a 7/10. Good job! |

Floatby InsomniacComment: Another one of those rare pictures that get a score upgrade from me in the second round. Great symmetry, leading lines, exposure, lack of distracting background, good colors. 8/10 for you my friend! |

Safe!by vawendyComment: Great candid shot. Don't know how I can suggest to make it better.. shots like these are hard to get. A higher shutter speed may be? To give finer sand/grain freeze control? 6/10. |

Undecidedby BarbBComment: I get what you are trying to do here with shape, symmetry, and abstraction. But it didn't quire hit the home run for me. You will however get points for creativity and thinking out of the box. Minus one for lack of any 'action', which goes against what the theme suggested (Capture the action of any sport.). 6/10. |

LAXby wdammanComment: This one gets an upgrade from me. A good action shot. Candid. Sharp, in focus. 8/10. |

Fixationby npaselComment: Sepia tone does wonders here. Both models are indulged in the scene, telling me that it is a spontaneous shot, not a posed one. I fail to see that gripping action moment here though. 7/10. |

Nerves of Steelby ErinKirstenComment: The best part about this picture is the eye contact. Also love the shallow depth of field and composition of the scene. However, since it misses any real 'action', I am gonna have to give it only a 7. Good job though! |

The inside pass to the winby SheryllComment: Good capture. Blurry though (I know it is hard to take pics like this, but I have seen better). Shows the spirit of competition. Like it. 7/10. |

NEXT!by LVicariComment: I want to believe that this was actually taken in a field and not in a studio. Regardless, it looks like it was setup. Great shot. Great lighting. Love the way he is making eye-contact. If it was not a setup shot, I would give it an 8 (if it isn't, pardon me for deducting a mark). 7/10. |
