Smelly Katby TimosabyComment by Melethia: This is one well-worn alley cat. Normally I'm not a fan of selective desat but in my opinion this is one of those times where it works very well! This guy has an attitude and it shows. Good shallow DOF but enough background to give context and interest. Well captured! |

The cool reduced sat colour palette works well, but it is the composition that makes this for me, the way the cat is balancing on the side of the barrel - and it does rather look as though it has taken a tumble in at some point... |
