Water Lillyby SwashbucklerComment by Everyday Renee: I really like this photo. The only thing that somehow bothers me and I don't know *why* is the lower left corner. The shadows or the dark blue. It shouldn't bother me, but every time I look at it -- I find it distracting. Yet, I don't know that it should be cropped off. It offers some variety. Just thought I'd share my thoughts... |

Skipping Stonesby SwashbucklerComment by Everyday Renee: You can certain feel the motion here. You know exactly what is going on in the photo without having to read a thing. I like the fact that you have smooth water up-close and ripples in the background. It gives nice perspective. |

Peacockby SwashbucklerComment by Everyday Renee: The detail of the feature is awesome in this photo. I really like it. The colors are great too, I just wish I could see more green. Another angle to consider would be moving off-center -- so the circle area was only showing by 50% which would allow you to capture more green to the right or left. |

Window_Grasshopper.jpgby SwashbucklerComment by Everyday Renee: I think people are looking for more clarity and that keeps some of your ratings lower. I also think the arm in front of the face of the hopper is a bit distracting. I wonder what the angle would have been like directly below looking dead on up towards his eyes. Just some thoughts for you... |

Blown Me Awayby SwashbucklerComment by Everyday Renee: Neat idea with the fan. Great self-portrait! I think a white background would have really set this photo off. The wood grain in the back kind of takes away from it because it blends with your hair. If we could distinguish your hair easier, it would add much more interst! |

Misty Mountainby SwashbucklerComment by Everyday Renee: As this photo exists now, it is missing a focal point and color interest. Perhaps if you could have had a branch in the foreground it would have added some color and contrast. |
