Sonoita, Arizonaby giosv5Comment by lawrysimm: The wire fence ruins an otherwise great shot for me. The same shot taken from a few feet further forward either between the wires or from just the other side would have been better. Foreground interest from the shrub or cactii would be more in keeping with the vista. |

Sonoita, Arizonaby giosv5Comment by hahn23: Gorgeous landscape. Great sky. Well processed. I scored it well. As an aside, AA would not have included the barbed wire fence in his scene. Fencing off the ranges was and still is controversial. Anathema to the protectors of the wilderness at the time. I didn't mark down your score for the inclusion of the fence. |

Well Seasonedby giosv5Comment by Tygerr: Nice idea. I think the effect may have been enhanced if you'd been able to crop off the black space on the top and bottom. |

Well Seasonedby giosv5Comment by Peredur: Nice image, but there's something about the angle that doesn't make it as interesting as it could be... Maybe I'd have gone for a much lower angle that made the closer mounds look quite big and the farther ones diminish in size with the distance, creating a bit more perspective. Of course you'd probably need a shallower tray or bigger mounds for that. |
