Buffaloby BAMartinComment by MelonMusketeer: You must have been pretty close to this one. I have heard that they can get nasty, and don't let up if they ever get started on you. The DOF, the included area, and focus is just right in this shot. |

Road to Ruinby BAMartinComment by SaraR: A very cool image - the composition is thoroughly interesting, and the high contrast mono conversion works very well indeed. I am with Bassbone in that the sky is a little too noisy for my tastes in this particular photo - possibly some selective noise reduction? |

cowboy cookby BAMartinComment by Melethia: Nice environmental portrait - I like the way his face has picked up the reflection from the fire. |

Somewhere in Timeby BAMartinComment by kcui: Except for the Starbucks in the background : )
Awesome concept, if one doesn't look too closely at the background and the clothes, you could definitely be fooled. |

Somewhere in Timeby BAMartinComment by Melethia: Heh! You almost had me convinced until I saw the Starbucks sign. :-) Perhaps a bit oversharpened but I do like the toning and all the competing lines. The foreground bike works, too - would have been even better if you'd kept that whole back tire in the frame. Lots going on, but I like that. |
