Behind the Canvasby ekmaiComment by ekmai: Thanks for your comments everyone. The white border is actually a concrete wall bathed in bright sunlight. The exposure was for the water under the pier, which resulted in blowing out much of the wall. The photo really appeals to me for some reason. Usually this is not my kinda thing, but playing with contrasts and exposures opened my eyes to things i never saw before. Amazing how few people voted on this challenge given the number of entries. Should the rule be you need to vote on 100% of images for your entry to count in challenges like this? |

Behind the Canvasby ekmaiComment by nam: Love the framing here and the contrast between the rich colors and strong textures of the pilings and water and the washed out look of the window wall. Your decision to weight the bottom was excellent. In my top 10. |
