Knowledge for the People - 1865by TallPaulComment by Covert_Oddity: There's too much in this shot. I can see that you are getting at the encyclopaedia, but then you have the lamp in the shot, which isn't really helping.
Also the layout you have chosen for the books might have been better. The part of the spine I can see in one looks really nice, perhaps try lining them all up as in a bookshelf with one lying open on the end, just a suggestion :) |

Strikeby TallPaulComment by kteach: This was one of my favorites in the challenge. I like how you captured the textures of the burning match so clearly in the center of the flame. The whisps of smoke added a nice touch around the edge. Perhaps a few blown areas in the center and a bit of an overdone topic for the mass of voters, but I thought it was a great shot :) |

Her Majestyby TallPaulComment by Scapeshots: the head on the lion in front seems to be OOF or not sharp enough..plus it is pretty centered...a different crop may work better. |

Her Majestyby TallPaulComment by Prash: I do not know if I fond these sharp and contrasty enough. The WB would be a tad better if it were towards the cooler tones. Good subjects. Did you post process these to put the skies behind?
I also learnt recently that an animal shot is most effective when they are making eye contact with you.. I will try that too. |

Her Majestyby TallPaulComment by Melethia: My favorite bit about this is the fact the rest of 'em are all snoozing! I suspect this is slightly HDR'd or Topaz'd - I think the editing is fine. |

Nature's Power by TallPaulComment by Prash: I like the sepias.. tho I wonder what it would be like in pure grey tones. If I were you, I would have riotated the image a tad so whatever is on the poles towards the top right of the image are horizontal. |

Her Majestyby TallPaulComment by Steef: I love the colors and composition. Did you sharpen at all in post processing? Just curious. I think this is an awesome picture. Nice work :) |
