Awaiting the windsby SchnitzComment by bob350: The light blue sky, darker water, paler beach, and diagonal shoreline go well with the boat. Moving to the left, if possible, to shift the dark branches away from the boat might be an improvement. I see the walking people as a distraction in a potentially more artistic image. |

Awaiting the windsby SchnitzComment by Teafran: A good solid image that is crisp, sharp and properly framed and composed - a technical. From an artistic standpoint, it is an intersting image but of less than universal appeal because of the rather empty nature of the image. A good look from behind the catamaran towards the subjects, or a closer look at the catamaran towards the water would have been a better choice. A good entry into the challenge. |

Just Jackby SchnitzComment by skewsme: Well he looks a bit calmer here ;-) You composed this really nicely because I am immediately drawn to the left eye and this anchors the image for me. From there I am admiring his beautiful strawberry blonde fur (great color capture), then travel down that longish snout to bounce off the wet black nose. I like how you and Bob have managed to portray different sides of Jack's personality within the constraints of a tight head shot. Congrats on breaking the 5 barrier so early! |

Just Jackby SchnitzComment by aKiwi: On camera flash doesn't help this image.
Try to ues a more imaginitive lighting setup. Either try to get your flash off your camera, or use window lighting or a reflector to make things more interesting and softer. |
