Lauren 2by daztazComment by saintaugust: nice clean shot, model looks good, i would have liked it better if she wasn't looking right into the camera. but i get why you did it.
there is some yellow from the artificial lighting creeping in... i'm not an expert in lighting, so hopefully someone who is can give you some pointers.
good work
Jeff

Sorryby daztazComment by tristalisk: Great Idea and very well shot. I realy enjoy the way you allow the veiwer to read a little peice of the letter. It leaves the veiwer wanting more. I also feel the the bright red envelope works well with the shot. Fits the challenge nicely, tells a stor, and is well exucuted. I feel however that a ring or somthing of the sort would have added a little more to the story. But was not necessry well done. |

Sorryby daztazComment by rblanton: You lost me at John. The cliche ruined a very effective photo. To me it would have been much more effective to have let me think "It's a Dear John" letter rather than spoon feed it to me. Dear Ambrose, Theodore or even Walter would have been better... I would have supplanted John and thanked you for letting me think a bit. Never underate your audience, they will hold you accountable for it. |
