If your title didn't say what this was, I would have never guessed. Funky colors. Certainly not something I would have attributed to a lobster. I'm trying to decide whether or not I like the lighting or if it seems a little dark, but I think the fact that you are making me sit here pondering it is a good thing. It certainly is interesting.

Composition: Because of the relatively similar colours it's hard to pick out focal point. Would have been good to use the rule of thirds to draw the viewer's eye where you want.
Technical: I guess lighting was impossible to change. Did you use a flash? The shadows are a little harsh. Personally I try and avoid using a flash unless really necessary as it does tend to make photos look a little poor.
Meets challenge: Mostly. I would have expected to see no background really.
Overall impression: Good effort and reasonable result.

Too small and too dark. The lighting may have been difficult, but your picture can be up to 640 pixels on the longer side.

I feel there is a little saturation/contrast missing here. The whole photo has a slightly flat feeling to it. The subject is good and the composition as well.
