A little more exposure control would have made this image a potential top ten contender if not a ribbon. A great action/motion shot, it appears to be a little flat and duller than it should be. No technical issues to mention, the artistic success is also affected negatively by the flat color. A good entry into the challenge.

Could be interesting, but this strikes me as either a severe telephoto in poor lighting or a severe crop. The resolution just isn't there.

The sense of "moment" is present in this image and the obvious character being captured carries some visual impact. Technically, it's a very well composed image which is a plus. From an artistic standpoint, it lacks impact. A worthy entry into the challenge just lacking that something special to make it stand out.

the centered man, the small image size, the noise and softness of the image - it all costs this cool scene a bit of score

i think a lower angle, slightly offset composition to allow us to focus on the drummer would help pull us in a bit more - nice effort
