Quite literally the depth of the field ;) I find it needs a main subject other than just the field. Even if it were a farmers field with bales of hay or maybe a farmhouse.

Nice point of view and central focus for DOP on opposing sides, but the over exposure is a little harsh on the eyes while the striping is warm; Suggestion...perhaps adding a layer beneath the photo containing the same brown tone and erasing the white @ 80 to 90 % opacity could add the tint of brown necessary to mute the contrast.
