Crystal Clearby larimarieComment by scrum8: The glass is a little out of focus. I might have tried cropping down to where the water enters the dish, and maybe use a darker background. |

horsesby larimarieComment by coolhar: too much stuff, 3-4 of the smaller ones may have been better, this seems busy |

horsesby larimarieComment by banmorn: overkill, the background at the bottom and on the pedestal are really not good, though of the two, the natural color on the pedestal works better against the paneling in the back. Might have considered losing the blue, and all the horses except the two on the natural colored pedestal and used that as you shot. |

horsesby larimarieComment by TooCool: Nice idea and choice of background. The browns of the horses go well with the browns of the paneling. The cloths on the table detract from this simple color scheme. You also have too much going on here. If you took a couple of horses (maybe the same size or color) and got closer with MORE LIGHT, you would get much more detail and a better over all effect!

horsesby larimarieComment by MikeO: A bit too 'busy' for me. Maybe just one or two of the figures would have worked better. |

horsesby larimarieComment by jmsetzler: When you decided that this subject would be your choice for the âStill Lifeâ challenge, how many different photos did you make to try to find the best perspective? How many different lighting options did you try to see how light changes could change the mood of the photo? I believe that some considerations of these elements could have helped you create a higher impact photo. |

halloween traditionby larimarieComment by moodville: You have all the elements of a halloween night - the pumpkin, someone dressed up, and a black cat. The light on the pumpkin is a little too bright, having indirect light or playing with curves could have helped, but also as this challenge was full editing you could have tried some dodge and burn. The cat's ear obscures the girl's face a little, ideally it would have been better had you fully seen her face. |
