I just read your post on the forums. For what it is worth, I did not think you cheated, and I thought it looked like a "scratched mirror." (What does that tell you about some of the mirrors at my house?) This is totally awesome, and I may try something like it with my son and husband. Sorry people tried to DQ you. Thanks for the explanation as to how you had done it... without it was hard to tell if it was photoshopped, or a photo of a painting of some sort (my thought), or something else. I guess the fact that is was hard to tell just shows how creative the photo was!

A haunting, interesting photo. Is that a ps filter, or is there a peice of glass between the camera & subjects. The connection to transperancy is quite thin, keeping this from getting my highest marks, but because it is such a strong image, I still must give it a 9. Very nice work.
