Great shot of this little lady. I̢۪m guessing you got this just before dark with flash. The hummers seem a little less timid at this time of day maybe because they are filling up for the evening or maybe their vision is reduced as evening falls. I read an interesting article on their ability to see color in the ultraviolet range. Much better than humans.

Gasp! Ohhhhhmygoodness! This is amazing! As a perpetual "attempter" at hummingbird photos, what I appreciate so much about this is how totally sharp every part of the image is... and in such low light.
