Great composition. The colors are wonderful -- the blue of the water, the green of the gunnel are striking. I wish there were more light to show off the color (yellow?) of the boat. I'm having a hard time seeing the "Nostalgia" in this image, but I'm betting that is just because of a cultural barrier -- I'm going to just rate the picture as if it IS somehow nostalgic. I give it a 9 -- it would be a 10 if I could see the boat a bit better.

Very good, I like the method of seeing the future off in the distance while stuck in the past. A lot is being said in this and you pull it off nicely.
