This has a lot of compositional appeal and meets the challenge nicely, but the heavy burning in some parts detracts from the impact.

Brilliant idea. The specular highlights kind of break the mood for me though, and the stands under the globes are underexposed. Both of these I think stem from the same source: lighting highly reflective objects directly. If you had instead lit the room they were in, and only indirectly lit the objects, I think it would have come out as a stronger image.

Good idea for the challenge. Nice collection of globes. Only thing I don't like is the bright reflections. IF you could have somehow diffused the light, I think the photo could have been more pleasant.
