Strong side light to get shadows might give this little scene more bite. The even lighting tends to "flatten out" the subject. The shadows from side lighting could boost the perception of depth and texture. |

In the photo, if the girls had been closer, they would dominate the image, and further away, they would not be significant in the image. They add a lot of life to an otherwise ordinary scene without overwhelming the image. |
