I know this isn't going to be on the front page, but as a new england boy I absolutely love this shot. If this were mine, I would have selectively bumped up the curves on the background to really bring out the contrast between the foreground and backdrop.

I like how the image is framed with the leaves and the branches. However, this framing leads the eye to the open area of water where there is nothing of interest.

If the image is about the rain then maybe a tighter crop around the foreground leaves or branches (or both). The foreground water doesn't really add anything.
