Lines and Birdby closethefridgeComment by Jovi: It not really parallel. Focus is off although getting this in focus IS tough especially in auto focus which what i presume you used! Good choice of subject though! |

Lines and Birdby closethefridgeComment by cbonsall: hmmm, the lines are converging so they don't appear to be parallel. I haven't marked down lines that converge due to perspective but it looks like these wires actually do converge |

Lines and Birdby closethefridgeComment by Sammie: Good use of lines to enhance the mood of the picture. The picture would be better if more clearly focused and a sharper contrast between the wires and the sky. |

Swingingby closethefridgeComment by readme: Good response to the challenge. I like the choice of b&w! My eye is drawn more to the center of the photo though, rather than to kid or life subject here, because the kid is slightly out of focus while the other swing's chain, in the center, seems perfectly IN focus. |

Swingingby closethefridgeComment by Grandmom: I'm pretty much an amateur myself, however, I have taken quite a few pictures of kids swinging and here's what I learned: Walk around them some to determine the best background (simplified as much as possible and try to get sky) and then work to catch them on the backswing instead of the forward motion. You will get a better expression on the face and a much better body angle. Also the suspension of the swing against the background will be better. |
