What a beautiful baby. His eyes are tack sharp. The shirt with it's design is a tad distracting - maybe throw a solid color blanket or have him wearing a solid color shirt. But overall, it is an excellent portrait!!!

Great job capturing the values of the human face. Your subjects "halo" of hair adds interest complemented nicely by his scruffy beard. I would like to see some sort of connection with the subject. He seems to be disconnected and neutral. It doesn't have to be much, in fact it shouldn't be, just a subtle indication of thought or emotion. I don't like all the white space at the right of the frame. Crop closer and fill the frame with your subject's face.
