I think if the shoes were in focus, the picture would look much better. I love the colors, the focus just isn't there for me.

I like the color, composition, and lighting but the focus is a little soft. Perhaps this was a candid shot with no do overs?

There is a very distracting bit of color, yellow, at the top that seems inadvertent. Also, some details in the background are distracting as well, especially the one right above the left wing. I do like the pose on the bird, and the out of focusness seems to work. I think I would enjoy the graininess more if this was bw.
