This is one of those pics that - as it wrote to the screen, I said- "top 3" before I saw the entire image. I said it when the bug was half revealed. Usually that much color and saturation would bother me, but the grey gently pulls it off. Also the red background is soft rather than harsh which helps. Cute bug. Oh, well, it's a 10 and I.m sure you know it !!

Superb picture, and choice of post-processing colouration, but badly shoehorned into challenge with a less than elegant title. I really detest the border however. If I remember, I'll add this to my favourites as I really like the photo, but I have to score it low because of the irrelevance to the challenge. 3
