Golden Lightby dinnComment by dr rick: Here's the critique you requested, from the Critique Club.
The first thing I notice when looking at this picture is the beautiful warm color. It is very inviting and works with the spaciousness, soft focus, and the obvious fact that the photo is of the inside of a church to express sacredness quite well.
The viewpoint is very good. There are plenty of perspective clues to convey both the width and depth of the church very well. The exposure is perfect; the bright parts are burned out, but the tonal range inside the church is just right and there is plenty of detail in the shadows.
Great job on your first challenge entry. |

"You can be sure of SHELL"by dinnComment by reevey: lol i geddit... i shell giv u a higher mark for ur naff joke ;-) It's actually a great shot, i love the shadow from the shell. I would say that the title is the only thing that makes it propaganda but thats true for most of the entries so I'll shut up now. |

(Not) Move a Muscleby dinnComment by blindjustice: This is a great shot- you have to look a while, but then you realize that the back does not go- is out of place- does not fit... but that adds to the interesting qualities of the shot- anyone could have studio lit this girl aand made the photo creepy- but this is much better. |

"You can be sure of SHELL"by dinnComment by Rooster: I dont get the message that you are trying to get across here as such I am not sure how this fits the challenge. I do like the shot, the composition especially. |

(Not) Move a Muscleby dinnComment by moodville: The title is confusing me a little but I assume you mean something similar to 'dont move a muscle' which I understand. The lighting is good, the focus is good, certainly captured the stop motion and it links well to the title. It's a well shot candid. Street photography is always a nice thing to see. |

(Not) Move a Muscleby dinnComment by Trinch: I like the depth of field in this photo. I would have prefered if the entire woman was included in the shot though. |
