Very nice one! Great job! I love how your picture evoke the whole story of Vondervotteimittiss. The light on the house is perhaps a bit flat, and the colors in the sky a bit saturated, but it doesn't bother me much.

I enjoyed the colors and composition and thought maybe a lot of noise reduction would have given it a really nice smooth effect. I thought it was a Lady Gaga outfit I had missed... };>\

I think this was a more true macro then many of the photos rated above it.

New personal best! Thanks everyone.
I thought the shapes were more interesting with a shallow DOF, but can see how it can make parts of the image distracting.

Comment by PenelopeK:
Love the colors and shapes. I'm curious why you chose such a shallow DOF, as I find the out of focus areas distracting, perhaps because the bright yellow draws my eye to those areas. Interestingly, my reaction to this issue varies by how close I am to my monitor. When I move further away than my usual position it does not bother me as much. Going to bump this!

Such is life! This tells a story but is not something I would photograph. It macthes the challenge beautifully. Vote of 6 simply because of personal taste
