I'm confused as to why you would focus on the little leafs and not the flower. Your colors are quite flat. I wonder what you could do with levels and curves to make it pop more...

The shallow dof almost isolates the leaves from the petals. The end result is a bit disconcerting, but interesting.

neat IR treatment - I am not sure about the cropping - the foreground water here seems 'dirty' or something - a crop so that texture is not visible might work better
