IMG_3702flat.jpgby fstopopenComment by Rebecca: I think the grunge layers work well. The highlights on her hair are gorgeous. My personal preference would be to keep her off center, cutting out the yellow stuff and the edge of the stairs on the right side of the photo since I think they're a bit distracting. It would also take her into a thirds position, and you know how that goes over around here. Nice work! |

As the sun rises in the fogby fstopopenComment by srbrubaker: This is an amazing shot! You started with two completely unremarkable trees and some rather normal grass, and with a rather major miracle of lighting ended up with a very extraordinary composition in green and gold that is at once completely natural and highly abstract. |

business card front color copy.jpgby fstopopenComment by lowonenergy: I think it fits your style of photography well.
I'm not sure about the colours tho, the one in the bottom part are just fine they look calm to the eye.
But the upperhalf looks a bit wild, maybe to much colours overlapping eachother their. Just a thought
The background photo, well lol... j/k
it's a good choice, but maybe blend it in with the black background more.
Hope it is any help :) |

business card front color copy.jpgby fstopopenComment by mist: If your intent is for a dark, moody, atmospheric shot that puts the viewer in mind of film shots for gritty dramas, then it'll do the business nicely.
If you're intending on wedding shots and formal portraiture, then you may want to issue another card with a somewhat lighter image to it. ;) Message edited by author 2006-10-09 15:13:02. |
