Desert Sentinalby LoudDogComment by Blackdog: I feel that the image could have been improved a lot by changing the viewpoint. The rocks in the background detract from the impact of the main subject. The mono effect makes in look a bit flat. What I'm trying to say is the main subject doesn't stand out from the background enough. |

Desert Sentinalby LoudDogComment by tfaust: I think this photo is awesome. The backlighting here is subtle, I like that. The storm brewing in the background adds a lot to look at. I like your choice of b/w also. Nice work! :-) |

Desert Sentinalby LoudDogComment by kcwhisper379: This looks like New Mexico to me. Very nice in black and white, would like to see the color version as well. The mountains in the background really make this cactus seem even bigger. I love the hint of sun rays near the top. |

2000 feet above the groundby LoudDogComment by graphicfunk: This is one of those special images displaying the strength of the silhoutte. here it is employed to create a vast sense of distance. A wonderful image to entertain the eye and the senses. |

Archer Relic - Sagittariusby LoudDogComment by LoudDog: I wish I could have this one back. I felt like anything that I shot would be good after my first two submissions and this was my reality check. Message edited by author 2004-08-12 21:11:23. |

Gearby LoudDogComment by LoudDog: Simple shot, simple idea, I was very happy withthe results. I honestly spent about 15 minutes on this shot and took less then 20 shots. This one was my favorite of the bunch. Message edited by author 2004-08-12 21:07:33. |
