Well, you topped my pin drop photo! Maybe a lower angle on the light to help bring out the background texture? The light falls off along the top- I'd have cropped that out, but well done overall.

Yes, it meets the challenge but goes no further than that. The flames are blown out and basically centered in a static composition. Maybe a different angle or diagonal?

the best of the 'hear a pin drop' shots in this challenge.. nice contrast in the color.. the shadow of the pin is great as well as the light reflecting off the pin itself.. interesting..

The rocks are good, adds texture and interest. The flames are not bad and show some color shift. Only nitpick is the large dark area at the bottom - I would have prefered more of the rocks or more flame there as it seems to be where my eyes fall.
