It's a nice idea, but it seems to have the same problem that I often find in taking pictures with my A60 -- it's such a limited camera, you can't get very close up because we simply cannot compete with sharper images producted by more expensive cameras...This shot would probably have looked great with a camera x10 its price ;)

I think this would have been better without the crystal ball! Plenty of texture with the stone receptical. Focus could be a bit sharper but nice effort.

The focus on this is a little too soft for my tastes. Wish the whole thing was in focus instead of just the center of the bowl, it would add to all the other textures in the picture I think.

I get the stange sense from thsi that these two objects lie either side of the focal plane. Don't know what makes me think that. Thre's an over-processed, or poorly-processed look to the whole thing that is really not good, and loses all the fine detail of the image for you.
