Being able to see the other end of the pencil combined with a school background doesn't enable me to believe this photo. Black or white or something to set the mood might have helped. It is a nice clear shot with good lighting and cute title!

Not sure this really fits the challenge. Its a bit goofy and has some fun elements to it, would do ok for bokeh, but not for soft focus and seems to be really missing the high key element.
