A study in orangeby s2fraserComment by cbeller: DOF looks to be a tad too shallow. Using a wider DOF to bring the entire flower into focus would really help this. |

A study in orangeby s2fraserComment by rmtm333: Pretty flower. Focus appears to be a little soft. I might have used a smaller apeture to get the entire flower in focus. |

Juneby s2fraserComment by Kylie: Just beatiful to look at, but not of lasting interest in my opinion. If there were a bird or something on the water to add a focal point of some sort, I think it would be a terrific calendar piece. I know you can't control the environment; just giving my opinion on the overall resulting image. |

Juneby s2fraserComment by KDO: The sky, lightening around the trees with darker blue at the edges of the frame, and the reflection make this a classically composed photo. The trees look sort of mushy, though. I feel the need for something more to make this photo rise above the mundane. |
