I saw on Discovery that one 'talent' we westerners or richer nations don't have is the ability to squat for long periods of time. Apparantly it's good for us, especially when it comes to ablutions:))
This is a nice study of a different culture. The way the person is dressed is fascinating - that shirt does not go with that skirt/trousers. Those socks- odd socks and differently patterned scarfs...all to hide from the sun? Which most of us pay through the nose to enjoy for a couple of weeks a year? Held my attention, as you can tell:))

I think the crop is too far out, I feel like I need to get in closer with the subject. There is also a lot of what seems to be wasted space at the top and on the right. I can also see signs of cloning to the right of the head. When cloning it is important to always try and avoid repeating patterns, as human brains are designed to pick up on patterns, and this was the first thing I noticed about the photo.

This looks like a very powerful picture. The look in his eyes takes you to another place or perspective. His wet hair and the droplets on the water enhance this effect.

I can not belive how low this wonderful shot ended? I thought this one would be a ribbon, best one of the lot. And for some reason all the icelandic people seem to love it (me included), maybe you should move to Iceland...
