U.S. Strongby cbm293Comment by photom: Nice composition but think a bit more of the bottom right corner could be red. |

U.S. Strongby cbm293Comment by justine: You shot is pretty small. If you need help sizing your pictures search the forums and also look in the tutorial. If you will tell me what SW you use I'll help if I can. |

U.S. Strongby cbm293Comment by ccraft: For some reason we always get a lot of american symbols in these challenges. I like to vote on a) uniqueness and originality b) good composition c) excellent lighting that makes the image "pop" (I have trouble with this myself) d) good DOF (if appropriate) and e) a crisp, clear image free of tons of noise and compression artifacts. I'm starting to feel the religious and american symbols are not as unique anymore. This one has good composition, but the lighting doesn't really make it pop. I'm not sure what you could do differently with the lighting. It seems like there is a lot of noise and pixelation. I realize I'm only one voter and there are quite a few Americans involved in DP challenge so this image may speak to them more personally. The only other suggestion I have (for future challenges) is to try to use up the entire 640x480 pixel space for the image. You'll find most winners have large images. - 5 |

U.S. Strongby cbm293Comment by SharQ: Very subjective, this one. I don't think that the US is strong, but it is powerful. Not the same thing. ALso, this image is far too little. (1) |
