Waterfall-lets.jpgby supradaComment by Pixelstate: Not a bad effort. Nice and sharp.
I have tried a few of these myself and often fall into the problem of concentrating on capturing the movement in the water but not concentrating (enough) on making sure that I take a compelling picture.
The motion in the water is not enough to 'sell' the shot. I find that it helps to frame the photo without thinking about the motion effect. this helps boost impact in composition and the water movement then becomes a bonus rather than the main focus.. if that makes sense! |

Ozone Fallsby supradaComment by Strikeslip: I like the flow from top-left to bottom-right. The 1/3 sec exposure makes the water nice & soft. I'd rotate the crop to get the thin water strip to be vertical. Very pretty. |

Ozone Fallsby supradaComment by Schuff: I like this shot better because of the angle and water contrast. I would even try dodging and burning parts of the rock to make it more of a surreal look. (That is if you like surreal at all ;)
Also, might be just me but a very slight tilt to the left to help even some horizontals? Probably just me though.
Good job. |

Waterfall-lets.jpgby supradaComment by Schuff: Not bad. Have you done some post-processing yet? I would try increasing the saturation on the greens to make the moss 'pop' a little more on the rock and gives a little more of a color contrast. |

Girl in front of an arch.jpgby supradaComment by jmlelii: Ok, I shoot this area very often.
Agreed with everyone, the trashbag is distracting, but if you go move it you'll probably scare the girl away. The white areas are a bit over exposed, and I think I would have cropped out the two windows, or included all the windows. The whole image should be rotated CCW a bit to make everything straight, well actually that wouldnt work either, you'd have to go down the steps to get level to get nice straight lines. Good time of the day.
Welcome to Philly.
I cant believe you didnt photograph Love park? I think everyone visiting here at least goes to that spot. |

Wooden wall and lampby supradaComment by horsemadgirl: The tones in the are lovely - really soft. The shadowacross the bottom spoils it for me, but the lamp give it just that special touch to keep my interest. |

The hiding boyby supradaComment by horsemadgirl: This is a very powerful picture. Makesme wonder what the boy is doing there - is he trapped or waiting for something? The black and white is very effective and the rough sea keeps my interest beyond the rocks. Good Shot |

Planescape-2by supradaComment by alfresco: I like the planescape, it appeases the geologist in me. A bit more contrast might make the image pop, it seems a little flat; the colors seem a bit muted as well, but that might be my (crappy) monitor. The plateau below left center looks like a discus thrower just after release the disc, with the plateau to the side being the discus. At least that's what I see :) |
