Since I am lacking in technical skills, I cannot give helpful comments. I am strictly a photo buff who is trying to improve, but as to telling you what is wrong or right, I am in no position to say. I am simply voting based on whether I like the picture or not. Sorry, maybe someday I will be able to give helpful advice

This is just very appealing to me...it makes me feel like a bit of a voyeur, but I think alot of us secretly love to look through other peoples windows to see what the inside is like...to see if it can tell us something about who lives there. I do like the "cool" exterior contrasted with the warmth of the inside. Nicely done.

Well you met the challenge of "5", but the photo isn't very compelling. This image could be improved by showing the entire candles, not croping them off, and by having a sharper focus. Good attempt keep working on your technique.

The biggest thing I see in this picture is that it's either out of focus or a slight case of camera shake (my money's on the latter). The concept isn't bad, but at least some of the elements needs to be sharp for me.

My other problem is the headless candles. Either including the entity of the candles (shorter candles would do if you didn't want to end up with a picture that was too vertical) or even no candles at all.

The lower edge is a little tight to the base of the candlestick for me; if I was reshooting this I'd give a bit more space at the bottom, lose the candles and move the camera up a little too - the holders at the rear are too obscured by the ones in front and a higher angle would give them more visibility.

Image appears tilted to the left a little bit. You also have some undesirable light reflections that could have been burned a bit. Grayish background is not contributing in the best way, and the tight crop both at the bottom and on the top is excessive. Just my opinion, take it for what its worth.

What I like about this image is the nice warm glow on the inside, very welcoming feeling..

I love the lighting here but wonder about the shiny part of the ceiling and wall. Is this "plastic wrap" in photoshop filters and if so, why come part down the wall?

Not quite in focus or a little bit of camera shake taking place here.
