Soaring through Fallby rll07Comment by pcody: In my mind, the foreground should be used to show depth and/or act as a frame to the subject. I don't think the lovely flowers fit this. They obscure the mountains in the background and they don't have the symetry to frame the balloon. The balloon itself, as well as the sky, is washed out. |

Soaring through Fallby rll07Comment by Louison: Good catch, although the colors are kind of bland. If you can work on it for a post-challenge entry, you could fix this with curves, levels and/or brightness-contrast. |

Undecided Slinkyby rll07Comment by inspzil: Not particularly fond of this shot, as a macro. Its not a bad shot at all. Looks like a good retro type 60's shot with the exposure and being black and white. |
