A Weathered Toolby pcarpiComment by Azrifel: A bit soft, but it makes the scene and colors flow very nicely. Air becomes water becomes land becomes manmade object. The colors goe from deep blue to light yellow-orange in a very nice way.
The composition is nice but I guess that the scene lends itself for a nice and wide panorama (the lighthouse is relatively close to the side of the frame), something dpc is not yet well suited for. :( I like it how the rocks and land lead the viewer to the tower from the left to the right. The light in the lighthouse finishes it off. Is that the lighthouse its own light or a reflection from the sun in one of the mirrors? 7 |

A Weathered Toolby pcarpiComment by Neil: A very neat pastel sky; the water seems misty too (long exposure?) But perhaps have a bit more contrast would help bring out the lighthouse and the rocks below it. |

A Weathered Toolby pcarpiComment by Cam: I thinks its an advantage you found a misty, hazy day, it really brings out the main purpose of a lighthouse, even if not so much these days of GPS and computers.
Anyhow...10 |

A Weathered Toolby pcarpiComment by Rankles: A little bit crooked on the horizon, but nice thinking. Unfortunately, most people won't know that these things run on oil ;) stupid people of course, shame really, you deserve a good score. |

A Weathered Toolby pcarpiComment by mtaft: I think this looks great. It eprfectly captures the chilly November evening and the solitude of the lighthouse. Beautiful! |

A Weathered Toolby pcarpiComment by Prof_Fate: I see lots of jpg issues in teh sky. You compressd it WAY too much - this is a 30k file! You can be 4 times bigger and still be well under the 147k limit. Anyway, go to //davegage.com/mmc/digi-darkroom.html and check out the Shudder Sharpening. I ran your pic through it and without making any manual adjustments got a much more dramatic result. The sky is still a problem, but the rest is, well Wow! I can email it to you and you tell me what you think. If you need help/advice on sizing or compression just ask.
