Emily1by LokiComment by igoofry: I like the angle for the crop. It certainly gives the image a different feel than if just straight on. I like the colors but they look just slightly over saturated for me.
She obviously has beautiful eyes. I would love to see another shot like this but more of a head shot.
Nice work. |

Soft Touchby LokiComment by neophyte: This is a great photo untill you get to the shoes. I really like it but believe I'd vote it higher with a tighter crop.7 |

Emily1by LokiComment by davidcara: I agree with the weed needing to go.
I love the background, but for some reason, I feel as if the style of the model's dress dosen't fit with the location and style (grunge look).

Mysterious Waysby LokiComment by timfythetoo: Good feel and nice composition to this shot. This could be the same boy from another picture in this challenge 15 years later. And who knows where this young man will be 15 years from now. Nice shot. |

Emily1by LokiComment by SDW: A good photograph. And good processing. I think the lighting and focus is good and I love the colors. There are a few distractions that IMO I would fix.
1. The little weed to the left of skirt as mentioned by yanko.
2. Where the paint has been chipped off the door (normally would be good) but in it's location it is competing with the subject. Example: if I try to look at her face my eyes are drawn to that chipped paint area. My mind thinks it's some kind of writing on the wall and wants to read it. If that makes sense.
3. The first thing I seen was her arm behind her looks like it hurts. You can see her veins and muscle tension as she is putting weight on it. you may try to tone down the area from the elbow to the wrist so it will not be so prominent.
I like the border and your processing work. I think you did an over all good job. Especially with colors and composition. Message edited by author 2006-08-27 03:17:20. |

Kristine1by LokiComment by puzzled: Yeah, I agree with the comments below. That's a clever treatment that I think works really well. The model also is very good, with a nice half-smile on her lips. I also like the fact that her clothes go so well with her hair and the rest of the surroundings. Very good job, both of you! |

Soft Touchby LokiComment by taterbug: Beautiful image. Great model. I like the pose. I like the lighting overall, but it does seem to be a little blown on the hands. Overall, a very nice shot though. Works well soft, IMO. |
