This is the image of the two that I appreciate most - not that one need choose. The focus on the woman is stronger and the composition more embracing. She seems to be a hero, showing the way through a forest of combustion engines. I read her glance as doubtful, though to really know isn't possible. Using black and white is a good choice for allowing focus to remain on the woman. I imagine that this scene is a riot of color. Amidst all the visual busyness is also a sense of calm. Windows, motorcycles and the tessellated street provide horizontal continuity throughout. Another terrific photograph of life as it is lived.

it looks as though ocean folded upwards to make your shot better. that is an unfair advantage.
