Andi noticed the optician shop, I noticed the motorbikes and what look to be car wheels on the 2nd level of the buildings behind her and they way they seem to continue the street scene.

I prefer the closer perspective but there's something to be said about this one. Here she appears to be heading for a collision with this wall of motorbikes and that adds a certain tension to the situation. I know we're doing square . . . but I really don't need the top half - or even more (this could almost be a pano).

I love the fact this was shot outside the opticians - there is soo much to look at. My fist thought was maybe have a wider view however I much prefer this to the second image you gave us.

Loving that great swipe of dark/light, giving the scene such dynamism. It tricks me into seeing actual movement from the two guys on the digger, and from the machine itself. The trucks rear lights, however, are the best bit of all. I think of some kind of machine in a sci-fi movie about mining a remote planet.

it would be a good shot anyway, with depth and great contrast, but that big shoulder on the right makes it better.

yes this is a good candid or faux-candid, with great high contrast black and white, but also excellent use of the square canvas, with the area that should be well lit under headlights actually being a mighty diagonal shadow over half the photo. bravo
