You broke a rule with the horizon dead center. With a square composition I'm not sure you had a choice. I like the repeating patterns and that little opening on the left edge

Another strong image. The play of light on the ocean, sky and central strip of huts is sweepingly moody, the huts seemingly picked out by sunlight. The atmosphere is in flux and at odds with the serenity promised to these residents. I like the patterns created by the hut roofs and legs. In spite of the feeling of immanence, a strange calm is also present.
