... and i'm hatin' it!by arminComment by armin: Hi and thanks to everybody for their comments. For me this was pimarily an opportunity to tease something out from an otherwise rather flat source image .
I am nether a fan or an opponent of McD's, just indifferent. Been there once some years ago and never since. Can't speak obviously for the guy in white but it's kind of difficult to imagine him munching away a Big One. |

The way things used to be madeby arminComment by pwm6: This is a good idea. It would be a stronger photo if the figure was more toward the left side of the image so he would be facing more toward the center of the frame. It's usually good to have less space behind the main figure than in front of him. Good lighting and focus. |

Renaissancesqueby arminComment by raish: Very well done. Beautiful lighting arrangement and all the rest to get a Dutch master effect. As a portrait, maybe all the other stuff that's going on in the picture detracts from the subject and the handling and presentation of her. Either way it's a lovely picture and superbly done. |

The way things used to be madeby arminComment by nards656: I would have liked to see the smith have more "brightness". Maybe a bit of a dodge in that area to just make him stand out so that the "orange" isn't the only subject. He blends too well with the bg.7 |
