Beautiful low key portrait. Glad you can see the details in the eyes. There seems to be a slight glow to this image which looks to have been a side effect of dodging and burning, but i find it effective in contrast to the clarity and sharpness of the model's skin. Great work.

Great lighting and processing - and love the subdued tones. As far as the subject goes, then this is a decent [self?] portrait, but it doesn't tell me a lot about the person, which I think is what makes a really good portrait - just something that adds an elelment of surprise or interest. If this guy was wearing an iPod or something it would tell me at least what sort of interests he has.

This is a good shot, but it is screaming to be turned portrait instead of landscape, or to be less centered. I would have gone with portrait offset to the left due to the angle of the pose.
